Barbecue at the beach? Right, most will associate a beach vacation with day after day of dining in seafood restaurants, but in the Outer Banks variety is the spice of life. You can be certain, too, many of those spices are used in the North Carolina style barbecue eateries found along the Currituck Coast.

Contrary to the belief of the standard palates, no two barbecued pigs are alike. When tourists outside of the Carolinas reckon of barbecue, usually what comes to mind are the thick, tomato-based sauces and succulent ribs of neighboring states.
