Tea Brewers In The Modern Age Of Tea Drinking

While tea may have been around for centuries, it wasn’t until the last few decades that we finally started developing different ways to prepare it. The traditional way of preparing tea is to simply boil water and pour it over many dry tea leaves and let the leaves soak in the hot water. While this method of brewing tea is still by far the most well loved method, it is no longer the only method, and many other ways of brewing tea exist today.

There are in fact many benefits to more modern brewing methods when compared to more traditional methods. This is not to say that the simple and traditional methods of brewing tea are out dated, just simply that new methods are a bit more effective in producing better tasting and possibly more healthy tea.

So what is so much better about new tea brewing technology over the more traditional methods of brewing tea?

Well first let’s look at what I mean when I talk about new brewing technology…

We all know what the traditional methods consist of, simply some hot water and tea leaves. So what is this new brewing method? In small, modern brewing can take place in a few different forms, with the most well loved form being using an infuser. These work by taking a colander type cylinder and inserting it thru the middle of a tea kettle. The hot water is poured in thru top and surrounds the infuser, so you get the tea to infuse with the water without any of the leaves getting in the way.

The next form of modern brewing is the use of an really automatic tea brewer, that is very similar to a coffee machine with minor differences. The uses of these machines are increasing rapidly among tea lovers and drinkers and are becoming more and more readily available for a fantastic price. These work by combining all the functions of an infuser, a filter and water heating ability into one automatic machine. If you drink tea often and want most of the work taken out, then I highly suggest that you look into these machines as opposed to the infusers.

The next time you make your loose tea, reckon about the different ways that you could brew your tea to both save time and increase it’s flavor and possible health benefits. Don’t let yourself stay stuck in the ancient traditional ways if you truly desire something more!

Part 2 of this article is on its way! :)
