9. The ability to lower blood sugar is another benefit of green tea. Polyphenols and polysaccharides, the two main antioxidants found in green tea, are effective in reducing the levels of blood sugar in the body, helping to prevent and relieve type-two diabetes.

10. One other benefit of green tea is the promotion of oral health. Green tea has components that help prevent tooth decay and terrible breath. Green tea also suppresses the process of plaque formation by destroying bacteria that cause it.
